Huascaran National Park is home to the world's highest tropical mountain range and location of this year's World Qualifying Series race in Peru. Yaku Raymi is going down on May 27 - 28 and the track looks incredible.
The road is located on the lower part of the mountain pass to reduce the risk of rain and snowfall. Overall the road has 20+ hairpins with the race track having 7 tight switchback corners for riders to maneuver.
Riders will get two full days of skating the road with the first day consisting of practice / freeride runs and racing starting in the afternoon of the second day.
Registration is open and May is approaching! Full days of skating, camping accommodations, and breakfast / lunch are included for all riders with their fee. If you're traveling internationally we'd recommend arriving a couple days early to get used to the insane altitude of this road's location.
