Most got stoked, some got mad. Someone left before the practice runs started; someone else asked for more runs down. Everyone was amazed by the speed, technicality and intensity of the track. One thing is for sure: Transylvania rises up a new level of racing.
With a clear sky over an amazing view at the start line on Vulcan Pass, the event had its opening ceremony with the Major and all the government of Vulcan.
Riders had more than 6 runs in dry conditions before lunch break, then the rain came. This didn’t dissuade many riders, who all continued skating the track until it got too patchy.
Tomorrow qualifications will start early in the morning, followed by freeride. We hope for sun, but are prepared for anything nature throws our way. No matter what, it will be exciting!
