The Copa Valle del Downhill IDF WQS at Tarmatambo, Peru started with a traditional Inca ceremonial welcome. Adam Persson, Dillon Stephens and Erik Lundberg are high in the Andes Mountains at 14000 ft where the elements are demanding.
Competitors are looking good for tomorrow's race as APDS (Peruvian Downhill Skateboarding Association) hosts the Peruvian stop on the World Tour. It was a beautiful sunny day for practice and a race to qualify bracket on day 1 of this 2 day event .
In Womens, Giorgina Ivanov, Cristina Verdú, Valeria Sedano, Josefa Porter Ekdahl, Rachel Bruskoff and Gina Camelo are all ready for tomorrow race. In Juniors native Rodrigo Zuzunaga is looking strong, as is Austrian Konstantin Weigl in Classic Luge.
Tomorrow we will crown the champions of the 2015 Tarma IDF WQS heating up the South American Continental Series.
