Does a new year mean new race tracks? It may, but more importantly it means the return of the legendary Newtons at the Mt. Panorama race track in Bathurst, Australia on February 17th.
Whether you're a downhill veteran or new to racing, there is a pretty good chance that you've seen some footage of the iconic race. For those that are unaware, racing first began at Mt. Panorama in 2008 and was held by the Australian Skateboard Racing Association. The race served as a pinnacle for skateboard and luge racing in Australia and later became an iconic event that was recognized across the globe. We are thrilled to see the return of racing at Mt. Panorama and look forward to seeing racers from around the world come together to take the crown for the event's return.
The event is fast approaching and if you aren't already convinced to make it to Australia take a look at the following videos. One of which includes Bathurst local, Mitch Thompson, giving a run down with Channel 7 news on his local hill.
