Top contenders traveled to Belo Horizonte to race in the last event of the 2013 season and to ensure a strong finish in the overall points race. Mega Grand Prix World Cup was hosted by Federação Mineira Skate Downhill at the uphill auto race track Mega Space. Track conditions were hot and dry which made for some spectacular racing. Swede Adam Persson battled hard to win the Open class making him the 2013 Open World Champion.
