Lessa, Pross, Charleson and Koch on top at Killington - International Downhill Federation

Thiago Lessa won the Downhill Throwdown with a mixture of smart drafting, clean lines, and a willingness to take "tetanus" corner with zero braking. Emily Pross won the women's event, while Alex Charleson won the Juniors despite a seriously injured arm. In Street Luge Tim Koch won after defeating all in a competitive round-robin series.

The three-day event was shortened to two days due to forecast heavy rain for the third day. The track featured blistering speeds; top speed in skateboard was set by Thiago Lessa at 66 mph (110 kmh) and in Street Luge was most riders hit 75 mph (120 kmh).

The early running was made by the White Unicorn, Decio Lourenco, who arrived from South Africa with a modified helmet featuring an aerodynamic cone, and a fairing taped to his rear leg to further any aerodynamic advantage. Initial skepticism about any advantage turned to respect when Decio dominated timed qualifying, and then looked a good bet during racing until he rubbed wheels with Aaron Hampshire in the quarter finals, with both crashing out.
