Thiago Lessa hit 69mph and pipped fellow Brazilian Carlos Paixão to post the fastest qualifying time at the Killington Downhill Throwdown today. Hot behind the Brazilian duo were four Coloradons; Tanner Morelock, Dre Nubine, Zak Maytum, and Aaron Hampshire.
Emily Pross was the fastest woman; a full six seconds in front of second-placed Candy Dungan, while in Luge the Spanish duo of Mikel Diez and Jan Miquel edged out Malaysian Abdil Mahdazan.
