The final race of the 2015 IDF season ended today, with Douglas Dalua of Brazil dominating La Violenta and using his vast experience to win all his heats. Thiago Mohr made it a Brazilian one-two, with local Leonardo Macchi rounding out the podium. Top qualifer Bernardo Brambila crashed out in the first round.
The Women's final threw a surprise, with 7th fastest qualifier Magdalena Manochi disrupting the predicted battle between top qualifiers Magda Blanc and Sabrina Ambrosi, who finished third and fourth. Romina Bessone took second in an all-Argentinian final.
La Violenta lived up its name, with a few spectacular crashes. The track is a 2-mile (3.2 km) test of high-speed rip-and-grip corners.
In Juniors Valentin Castro beat out Bautista Manganaro and Matias Andrada, and relegated hot favorite Rene Garcia of Chile to fourth place.
Joaquin Barrios won Street Luge and then repeated his win in Classic Luge.
